***AUCTION*** leopard fursuit head, ends midnight GMT Sunday
Up for auction, one fursuit head of a leopard, made by me. Head is very lightly used, having been worn once for around 3 hours at a very cold convention.
Resin based construction, hand painted glass eyes, tearduct vision. The resin face is mounted on a thin foam "helmet" to give the back of the head structure, and is lined with a fleece balaclava, ventilation through the mouth and tearducts. Jaw is semi moving, the amount of movement will depend on the wearers head shape, but is fairly limited even on ideal wearers. Lower jaw has front teeth made from resin. Spots and markings are airbrushed with acrylic paint over white and brown furs
Should fit up to around 23.5", if your head is substantially smaller you may need to pad the back of the inside of the head with foam
This was originally made as part of a costume of the character Guin from the anime Guin Saga, in his basic barbarian costume. http://i.imgur.com/ez926FS.jpg Though it is unlikely the other costume parts will be a perfect fit on people other than me, if you want them I can throw them in the box for no additional charge, since I have no use for them without the head. This does not include the sword.
Shipping: Shipping will be charged at actual cost, to be calculated following the auction. The exact price will depend on location as well as the final selling price since insurance fees are based on the value of the item, shipping within the UK is likely to be around £15, international shipping will be more. I can calculate approximate shipping price to specific locations on request. Item ships from the UK.
How to bid: Bidding is in the bidding comment thread. Please reply to this thread and ONLY this thread with your bid, any bids not in the thread will be ignored, any non bid related discussion should be kept to other threads. Bidding is in US dollars
Bidding ends at midnight GMT on Sunday 31st March, or 5 minutes after the last bid is placed (so no bid sniping).
Payment: I will require FULL payment within 48 hours of the auction ending, so serious bidders only please. For UK customers, direct bank transfer is preferred (you can do this in person at a branch, or using phone or internet banking), final cost will be calculated using exchange rates from XE.com at the time the auction ends. For international bidders or those unable to do direct transfers, Paypal is preferred.
REBLOGGING: I would really appreciate if people could spread this auction around using journals, facebook, twitter etc. If 20 or more people reblog this, I will randomly pick one to receive a free mini tail keychain from my stock. If 50 or more do so, I will pick three people, and If 100 or more do so, I will pick five, and also all keychains will be made in the colours of your choice. Post a link to your reblog in the comments thread, prefaced by the word "reblog".

I didn't see the bidding thread when I posted this, just FYI. FA hiccup probably!
Going once, going twice, sold to the luckiest person in the world!

I definitely can't afford to bid on this, so I gave it a little publicity instead.

OK guys, I count 14 reblogs, but because I love y'all, I'll pick two people to get mini tails anyway.
Using random.org, two random numbers from 1-14 gave me 10 and 11. So counting through the comments, the tenth and eleventh reblogs are Pillowbiter 190 and Oukume. I'll PM you for addresses and colour preferences this evening when I get home

When I ordered it there was only one version available, so I'm not sure, guessing bigger? I generally sculpt/fur on a lifecast though, of my own head which is substantially bigger than the cfx head I have. I use the cfx one for furring necks since it has the neck and shoulders, and for display
Wow. The proportions here look a lot more like they might on an anthro if, you know, they were real at all. x3 The subtle shading and his expression are so lifelike, which I realize is a weird thing to say here. I mean that he looks a lot closer to a merging of human and non-human animal than I see in a lot of fursuit heads. His eyes LOOK like a cheetah's, yet have a human quality to them. Or maybe I'm being too romantic about it all. x3 Beautiful work, regardless!
