I'm a comic book nerd and I like to draw comic book characters. So heres Power girl.
she has a silly origin and past but I dont care, every character from DC has a weird origin, aside from a few. ergh... in other news enjoy some boobs with muscles. :3

yep I enjoy the classic costume on powergirl as well. Her new 52 costume is interesting, its more like a average super hero costume... which is kind of disappointing in a way. There are some figurines at my local comic shop that of Powergirl in her original costume which is pretty rad.
Mmmm...they actually changed a lot of the female characters in the DCU over to these "full-body spandex suits". I remember showing a friend the New 52 version of Star Sapphire (Carol Ferris version) and she's like--SHE'S NOT SEXY ANYMORE. *laughs*
But they changed Wonder Woman back from something like a shirt-and-jeans number to her classic swimsuit-style costume. *chuckle* Oh comic books, you are so weird!!!

Yeah A lot of the female characters in DC changed their costume for one reason or another. and yeah apparently having a cool and sexy looking costume, just isnt in DC's plans. And I've even talked to some female fans of comics and they like having females in sexy costumes that are tough. And yeah wonder woman's costume change is odd why they did that. :3c
They kept the silver trim, from the shirt/pants combo...rather than going back to gold. I do have to admit...I really like the silver on Wonder Woman. It looks better for some reason.
I wonder if there's been redefining in the comics code? I notice a lot more books have to put "Mature" on them than they used to...even ones that began as "Older Teen" (Dynamite's "Warlord of Mars" series) is now "Mature" (it probably should've been rated Mature to begin with, but... *lol*). *hmmm*

Well I guess they streamlineing the code and stuff for comics so kids dont get mature comics and what not. You know get the product into the hands of the correct target audience. its all silly but it makes sense in a way. dont want all the kiddies reading "mature" material now, even though they'll learn about that stuff later anyway. :/
