Brilliant idea for a sonic-style character and very well executed. It's nice to see sonic characters done with different animals other than hedgehog and echidna too.

Thanks. To this day I get sick of seeing people reveal Sonic OCs to the world, only for them to be palette swaps of existing characters with a handful of tweaks. Also, too many people make hedgehogs and echidnas (not to mention foxes and cats) their Sonic OCs when there are a ton of animals they could use. My apologies for the ranting, but it's nice to know that someone understands what I'm talking about. Glad you like my pic!

The world is missing out on originality, sadly... hence why I (and you apparently) stride for something different.

Oh don't appologize, I rant all the time! :D mostly about;
A) How new video games seem to be brightly coloured crap with no gameplay and a splash of violence and titties.
B) How the modern electronic music industry doesn't know anything other than making the computer and the rubbish preset sounds do all the work. (To quote a song: MONEY FOR NOTHING AND YOUR CHICKS FOR FREE ).
C) Why people insist on calling ALL the furry fandom fur-fags when 80% of the fandom are level headed people. The other 20% of the fandom are the creepy freaks who've lost all ties with reality and try to lick people on the cheek like it was the replacement for hello and a handshake.
