Seriously, if I could, I would instantly give you guys and gals all the rights WASPs have. Unfortunately, we live in a society that still has cracks and crevices of ignorance and hate permeating throughout it.

That said, certain words are fun to say. "Fag" and "Faggot" are perfect insults that I only use against a homosexual if he or she deserves it. For example, if you are a homosexual, and you take up 4 parking spaces, you are instantly a faggot to me. If you are heterosexual, and you take up 4 parking spaces, you are instantly a faggot to me. If you are homosexual and take only 1 space per vehicle (exceptions of course for those hauling trailers or driving Big Rigs), then you are not a faggot.

That is, I will never insult someone for who they are, but rather for the shitty actions the person might undertake. And as far as insults go, those that have been assigned to the LGBT community are, unfortunately, among the best to use, and certain words are too interesting to discontinue for social pressure.

An example of this is the word 'nigga', used to signify comradery and brotherhood amongst male friends. This is freely said in black communities, and at one time was also used as a term of persecution. I am white, but damnit all, this word is fun to say, and has practical uses!

Faggot is also fun to say, with equally practical uses. To be quite honest, I did not even know it was a slur against homosexuals until high school, and still find it odd that such a wide and sweeping insult can apply to such a small group of people. It's like taking the insult 'douchebag', and co-opting it to represent a small sliver of the population; many of whom do not deserve such a label.

...And those who deny love between two individuals? Well, they might just be the biggest fags of them all.

So tl;dr, some gays are fags and some straights are fags. Take up only 1 parking spot per vehicle, and you are not a fag.
