Becca's how to shade- Made simple!
I screenshot some of the work i did to send to my boyfriend and i figured i might as well put it in a pocture for everyone to see.
The two colours i used just happened to still be there from other piece i was working on, and actually, are the fur colours of my char Slin lol
After this I went into Filters- Hue and Saturation
and played with the sliders until i liked it. So the final shading ended up being a light yellow-orange
I used SAI paint tool but really the technique can be used in any art program with layers

I honestly just used two random colours that were similar in the same hue. I edited the he later to yellow anyway because it looked better. If you don't wanna edit it after, you can use dark grey-blue or grey-purple. Those colours always seem to add a nice shade to the picture
