Absolutely. Walking through these cottages is like stepping into a time machine; old photos of the island when it was huge, family portraits, children's bedrooms untouched. All left behind. It's amazing.

I like this series of photos! Where were they taken?

They're taken in an abandoned beach resort in Connecticut.

I like how the long exposure made the weeds look like small red ghosts standing outside. Waiting.

There is a tall, white plant that grows on the sandbar leading out to the location. I was walking out there late one night, and they truly looked like people in hazmat suits walking back towards me. When you take photos in creepy, abandoned places, your mind starts to adhere to the atmosphere.

I think you should have pulled up some of the boards on the boardwalk and smashed in the left side of the house to make the place look more decrepid... Then you'd be a REAL photographer! *grins*

I feel dumb just saying "oo! great!" since all your photography kicks balls, but it's true! I like that you got color in the boards, especially since at the beach the salt air tends to grey out raw wood.
