SO well, okay hyena base to be sculpt for 
rainbowchan!
This is specifically based off of a striped hyena as that is the character :b
Though the shape is not super specific it seems -_- though I looked at all striped hyena references :b
I'm happy for crits and suggestive changes!!!! :) (except that the lips/ sculpting in the front is completely crooked and other subtle symmetry issues, because I know that lol)
Also this base can have small 1" eyes or the larger eyes if anyone was so inclined :3

haha lol... no I wish I had a mannequin. I am sculpting all of my bases off of a very sturdy cast from one of my older masks (a skeleton face) it's what I've had to do to get things going. and I really kind of like it as I don't have to worry about the mannequin head tipping over on me while I'm trying to work on it :b

Hyenas are really hard x_x I had problems getting the shape right on the spotted hyena head I made, went through a lot of changes before I figured it out.
I think the nose could stand to extend further back onto the muzzle, from the side it looks tacked on. I don't have a discerning enough eye to know if the muzzle length and slope is correct though.

yeah The nose really is way too far out. I think I need to lower the brow also to give it more of a bulldog-like squished face as I've noticed it seems to be a thing with the striped hyenas. http://www.edgeofexistence.org/inst.....yena_large.jpg
and I think I need to thicken the muzzle a bit more make it more like a short big square box :X
