Flat colours for the "hero" of my little adventure project. Originally created as a fan character for Animatics' comic, I put so much effort into crafting a history and personality that I decided to adapt the character for something of my own.

Now 19-years-old, Vince finds himself waking up on a strange beach, completely hungover and with no memory of the previous night. Unsure of where or when he is, Vince staggers along in an attempt to find a way home, if he actually can. The pampered city boy soon discovers that this world is far more hostile then he's used to.

Besides the occasional bar fight, Vince is a non-combatant. He relies heavily on his wit, guile, luck and running away (a lot), as well as the companions he meets, to try and get to the end of his journey alive and in one piece.

Act I takes places along a chain of islands and coastal towns based on a fantasy version of colonial Caribbean, influenced by films like the Pirates of the Caribbean series.

The best way I can describe the idea in its totality is like The Wizard of Oz meets Conker's Bad Fur Day. :/
