Indeed^^ at first this had started out as a VF-1 gerwalk but I decided to try something different and the 19 certainly has a rather cool if not unusual gerwalk mode.

It's been awhile since I've seen the Robotech series, but they knew how to do mechs. :P And I like seeing original designs when it comes to them.

Well the VF-19 is from macross 7 and VFX2 for playstation so I don't think it showed up in any of the robotech series.
