I've read the sparknotes of Beowulf xD but have read the whole book of Grendel by John Gardner, that's the one you're talking about right? x3 I really liked it, but I kept picturing him as the kind of monster that they had on the cover ( this one http://www.paul-charles-smith.com/w.....06/grendel.jpg ) which bugged the heck out of me because I wanted to picture him as something so much cooler, i just couldn't get the boring man bear version out of my head though lmao

Yeah, I have a wild imagination and I see him SOOO much differently, even the Beowulf movie depicts him WAY out there. :P
