You know what really used to piss me off? Being so in to something that you do all sorts of research on it and find that no one bothers to put the mind flayer in any new clothes. Every single one of them wears the same goddamn leather dress. You'd THINK that a people as lordly and egotistical as they are would BOTHER to abduct a few gay tailors from some surfacer city to clothe their bodies. Which, by humanoid standards, look like a 7 foot tall 10 year old girl. You know. The hipster ideal.
