and i had a ton of people attacking me over my reasons for giving my python away, then getting kjinnis.
sayin im a shit owner, and that im awful and ignorant and that they were happy hes gone and that i should never own a reptile. when they didnt even bother to ask the full story.
basically mourning my baby of 6 years. they made me feel even worse. but whatever. its the internet. everyone gets a mask of anonymity, and a license to be a jackass. so im not gonna care about it anymore and they can go eat a plethora of dick.

Haters gonna hate... I don't think you're a bad pet-owner. Sounds to me like you just couldn't take care of a python anymore.
And losing a pet sucks, no matter HOW you lose it. ^^ And it makes ya happy to fill that void with a new little buddy... I had a cat that died a few years ago at the ripe old age of 16, and we got a new kitten late last year. ^w^ The new kitty is love.
