i think this turned out quite nicely. the background has this cool, eery 'calm before the storm' feel to it that i looooove. the character though i think could use a bit more definition, it honestly looks like it was added last to have the picture have a character. on the flip side, she/he looks somewhat ghostly which is damn cool in its own right (if that's what you were going for then derrrrrp forget i said anything)
