I know that situation fairly well :>

In my few experiences working in a band, usually goes as follows:
-Bassist/Rhythm Guitarist's accused of being off beat with the drummer
-Accused denies allegation, passes comment about singer being off-key
-Singer threatens to kill accused
-fist-fight ensues until all are bruised up
-Too tired to fight/argue, band starts over from the top.

Of course, that's my experience. Not sure how other bands usually settle things.

I notice the drummer hasn't shown up yet... Typical!
