Lig issued an open challenge for artists to draw a babyfur that's a species you never see. Which reminded me that when I drew that picture of Zee-Zee playing rugby (it's in my scraps gallery) I had the South African players be lions, so they'd look big and intimidating, although in fact they probably should be springboks (the team's nickname and the national animal of South Africa). And I've never seen a springbok furry before! For that matter, you never really see any kind of antelope/gazelle/deer/anything like that, do you?

This is Hansie, he's three and a half years old and he's just moved from Johannesburg to Zee-Zee's neighbourhood with his parents. The whole experience caused a few setbacks in his potty-training, so he's wearing diapers until he gets used to being in a whole new strange country. He's very fond of his too-big-for-him rugby shirt. He's going to have really great curly horns when he gets a bit older, but for the moment, he just has those little stumps.
