Pick up that pen!

Been seeing a lot of this sort of thing going around. The first sketch took about half a class period, the second about 12 minutes. The improvement isn't ridiculously dramatic like others I've seen, but it's there and obvious. I'm by no means a perfect artist BUT the best way to stay happy as an artist is to compare yourself only to yourself.
