okay now, critic... the proportions look about right so far. aside the bulky foot and the right arm, which is too voluminous for the rest of the critter. I'm also wondering where he has his hand and forearm...
even moreso, where is the other leg? on the other side of the rock? but the rock seems to be higher, not like the character sitting on it... that makes no sense.
I guess the character has such long ears? looks more like a rabbit than a wolf. despite the pink nose triangle, since many artists make that mistake...

question: where do you want to go, art-wise? realistic, toony, somewhere inbetween? I recommend using photo references, and looking closely at people and animals in real life. knowing anatomy AND proportions is essential, even for chibi cartoon characters. when you know how it should like in real life you'll have it easier to abstrahize and make cartoons or chibis or whatever you desire.
