For the first time I did only the b&w art for the bacover of issue ten. E.T. did the colouring and did a decent job of it, even if the magenta details on the anti-grav drone surprised me a little. I tried to mix E.T.'s own style in drawing Cypher with my own. I find the effect a little bit jarring. Her body is rather realistic, but her face very much an arrangement of angles and lines, like most manga.
Actually, now that I think back on it, the drone may be a minature space shipt for teeny-tiny aliens.

Not sure what those little fin-horn-thingies are on top of her head, but they are definitely appropriate for a gremlin. ^_^
That's the trouble with curious types... Too busy wondering what's inside and how things come apart to remember how to put it back together, usually... ^_^;;

"Then go fix them"
"But... but... She literally melted the engines. I don't even know how she did that!
"Look, are you gonna go fix those ships, or am I gonna have to find a new Head Mechanic who will?"

No, some of the parts coyly reproduced on the ground when you weren't looking. They mature quickly.
For instance, did you know that paperclips grow into coat hangers, and eventually mature as bicycle frames? (This was from some old science fiction story I remember reading. Maybe by Henry Kuttner.)
