Here's the backside of the redesign, mostly to show that the jacket has a flap on the back. It's attached along the top of the shoulder and the flap covers the fact that the area underneath is open.

I've decided on a more or less final general look.

The summary is: BANGLES!

Three bangles on each wrist and ankle.
Three short-dangle earrings on each ear.
A gemstone pendant.
There is a gem in his forehead in addition to the one on his hands.
There are three more in his back, two at the inside of the shoulder blades, one between them and a bit lower. The upper two are accessible from the flap in his jacket.
Long hair down to the floor, tied back here to make it easier to see the jacket
Lastly, wings. After some debate, I decided to keep some form of wings. There are no visible wings, but wings of light energy will emerge from the two gems in his back through the flap.

Yeah, I think I may have overaccessorized, but I think it definitely gives a certain... look. Not sure why I really like it. Perhaps because it gives a rather strong "magey" feel. Might add a few more trinkets, but not sure. There's definitely one thing I would like to add in, but I'm not sure how to fit it in.

Now there are a few more specific details to work out such as what everything is made out of and their designs. Shapes kinds of metals, gems, colors and whatnot. But here's the basic look.

Now all I need to do is put all this thought together into a reference sheet of some kind.
