A few weeks ago I heard an interview on the radio with a lady who wrote a book about food tasters and testers, and much to my surprise there are humans who test pet foods. She mentioned that the reviewers would make notes on the moistness or crunchiness of the samples, and gauge the flavors for meatiness, juiciness, and just a hint of fresh offal flavor. No... I'm NOT gonna try it.
