These are very neat pieces! Can I ask why you centered the pop cans in your shots? You could show of the beauty of the item, by capturing it in an imaginative way...

Ever hear if the term "Look at it with fresh eyes"? Basically, with your camera, approach something, anything, from as many different angles, imagine that you've never seen it before, and show that through your camera.

Just a bit of criticism, I hope to see your photography skill blossom as you practice. ^^

ill give it a try, the reason i took pictures of them that way is because i had other things on the shelf that would draw attention away from the cans

There would almost certainly be a way to get everything in the shot while making the cans the focus, even if you arranged the pieces slightly differently. Making use of Leading lines, and a shallow depth of field could lead to some very interesting effects :D
