I feel very fortunate that when TinyTribble and I fo to Furnal Equinox we can get to meet and talk to such notable artists as  gNAW,  maxblackrabbit,  stylewager and  kanthara just to name a few....

One of the highlights of the convention is trying to think of little ways to tease Rithy, who is Second In Command of security at FE. WEEELLLL.... I got to talking to Kanthara about the whole Gargoyles "thing" (The Goliath Chronicles) and knew she'd worked on that... and she mentioned how she'd done a 'crossover' putting Rithnok into a Gargoyles' battle scene.

That's when my head went, "Well-now-HAY! You've been working on Martha Speaks now. Hmmmm......." After letting my brain peculate on the idea a while I came back and said, "What do you think of THIS?" And pitched the idea to her.....

The look of pain on her face musta been from cracking a rib trying not to laugh loud enough to fill the hall!

And there we go! Martha is a dog that can talk and she's quite innocent, really. So it just NATURALLY follows that if they met, this would be the result!
