Sketches for painting class.
We have to do an alien planet type thingamagigger. Two paintings. One set during the day and one at night. There must also be a character in the painting. That's where this dragon dude comes in... he glows in the dark. Well parts of him do.
As for the alien planet, I'm thinking... there are these balls of earth floating in the sky and each ball has a gnarly, bloomless tree growing out of it.
The balls of earth have markings on them as well which glow in the dark. I'm thinking about putting the luminesence on the trees too but I thought that might be a bit too much...

it is all very interesting!
as for the trees and lighting, it all depends, some types of glowing only lihg up a small area...while some light up a lot more..but they can appear just as bright...like glow sticks versus lightbulbs...
it all depends on where you want the focus to be...charcter, landscape, or action..or all of the above..or another entirely :3
