Admittedly, AM has his moments where he appears to be a self-centered screwball, but I think he has a very deep wisdom that is mostly hidden from viewers. I've learned to expect the unexpected with him, and take some of his words/actions with a grain of salt, but I have no doubt about his overall ideals.
