we reached home around midnight of last night, and we all went to sleep. but i'm back now! and i'm so happy to get to use my computer again! i love it when it reassuringly loads a pic of the seattle space needle at start up each day. it reminds me of my home in washington state, since i was born and raised there.

That certainly does have to add a sense of serenity to your day. Even miles away from home, a simple image of a locale that had meaning during your time growing up can make all the difference. :)

I'm glad you all made it back safely from FWA. No doubt I'll be hearing all about when Ozzie gets on to share some fun. Or, in the least, the numerous journals that are certainly to go up.

i didnt actually grow up in seattle though. i mean like i grew up in a different town. but somehow knowing the space needle is a part of washington it makes me happy nonetheless. ^^

You know, It's ironic you should say, Yosh-E..,. because, to be honest, I've sort of been trying hard to sort of tone down being so opinionated on... well... everything.

In short, lately, I've been trying harder at being "good" (for lack of another word)... because, I';m a bit tired of those who think I have only one side to my personality (Namely, aggressive to the bitter end)... that is but one side of me.

But, like I said, I think many have only seen that side of me. I don't know... maybe it is because that is all they WANTED to see of me, but also, I do wonder how much I've been behind my own problems out here at times.

At any rate... again... though of course I'm certainly ALWAYS "Choice C" deep down no matter what, I just am trying to be less pushy or aggressive or whatever.

Bottom line... I've never claimed to have all the answers to everything... I just simply try my best to think with what grey matter I has to work with.

*Hugs* I think you do a great job with what you have been doing as of late, Phloppy. As you mentioned, you don't do so many posts as try your best to bring concepts often not thought about to the attention of the ignorant masses around here. Nothing wrong in that.

*Shrugs* I can see how you may come as "aggressive". However, I think it is because you are quite passionate about what you write about and, as a result, you come off intense for it means a lot for you to take the time and jot down what you do to try and make a point.

Overall, in time, you will eventually learn how to balance yourself out so you come off as "less aggressive" and, when you do, I do believe others will join in discussing "Choice C" with you.

It's kind of like with writing. I've been working on being a writer now for almost as long as I can remember and, well, I'm still working on it. I probably will be working on it until the day I die. However, so long as you are always making an honest effort to better yourself, you are doing a good job and should be proud of yourself for ever striving to be the best that you can be. :)

Thank you, Yosh-E... sometimes, I feel you've always been one of a select few people that has actually bothered to take the time to understand me, and what makes me tick.

And, yes, you nailed it... I'm VERY passionate about the things that matter most to me.

Granted, I understand that others won't feel the same way about those things, and that is all well and good, of course.

It's just that when people make these assumptions about who I am and what I am deep down, and why i do things I do, and the whole 9 yards, it becomes a tad annoying after a point.

After all, we in the fandom often talk of the importance of acceptance, yet seem to do very little to accept others who don't think like us. In stead, many have made me feel like they have tried to force their opposing views down my throat simply because they didn't agree with me.

But, enough about that for now... again, like I said, I have been trying to be less aggressive, despite the fact that others have sent aggression my way in the past.

I think the main thing I wish people would understand is that I am not their personal doormat... never was, and never will be.

Not sure if that part about me is a "Choice C" kind of thing, by not wanting to be dom master OR subby pet to anyone... I just want to do what matters to me, and that's write about stuffs. lol

Truly, folks can "try" and force their own opinions down your throat. However, in the end, is up to you on whether or not you accept, or partially accept, what they have to say. They can use all the aggressive, nasty words they want. However, if they don't make a strong enough argument and can't discuss things like a human being, there is little chance you will accept their view. After all, I do much better when folks come to me and explain, in kind words, where my faults are instead of getting all in my grill over something that, until that moment, I may have had no idea about.

In both our cases, we at least know that we are loved and cared for by our mates and that, no matter what, is something few folks truly have in this world. When love can overcome what could be seen as a whole lot of "Worst of Times", you know have someone special and that you'd do all you can to let them know how much they make your life 110% better than anything in this world. :)

*huggles n crinklesnugs* Awww, yeah, that is very true. I sometimes think of it as being a little one that needs help doing things and caring for. Though that kind of gets depressing when there is no caretaker around. Tavi does what most caretakers should do, but I've told him that I prefer him to stay a cub and only help as far as an older brother or spouse would.

But even so, that love and care I get from him is very special and I feel very lucky to have him. I look forward to seeing him every time I get up from sleeping. ^^

D'aww. *Melts* I certainly know where you are coming from there. When I wake up, and know my wife is there, it's like having a warm sense of joy to replace that immediate feeling of "Whoa!" that comes from waking up.

I'm sure you make sure to always let Tavi know how much you love him and give him as many warm, crinkly cuddles as you can. Even though love is implicit after awhile, it always makes for a smile when you explicitly say and/or do something.

If I may ask, how long have you and Tavi been together? Do you find yourself writing poetry or trying to get commissions down to celebrate any special occasions? What would you say the most special thing you ever did for Tavi was?

Over here, my #1 was, while in Colorado, I went through a most hellicious day in blindness training and, since I had some time before the next bus, I went to "Build a Bear" all sweaty and icky wearing a Hamster shirt and carrying my cane while asking if engaged folks ever got Build-a-Bears. The lady was nice, said yes, and away we went.

I got one and gave it a little diaper and, before I finally got to see my wife again, did my best to sew a vest with heart shaped buttons. The voice button sang a song that, to this day, still works and is a reminder of the wonderful time we shared that year despite having to attend a lot of mind-numbing, general sessions on why blindness is awesome. :)

Awww, yeah ^^ If I wake up and he's not there I have to know where he is right away. We always hug first thing. ^^

Hehe, oh yes, we do have lots of huggles n cuddles together. ^^

I believe this August will mark our 5th year together. We always try to do something special on our anniversary. I've written a story for him and he has done art for me and we have our special close time together. I think the most special thing I did for him was write that story for his birthday. He loved it so much that he printed it out and read it over and over. ^^

Awww, that sounds very sweet too. A commemorative bear to remind you of a wonderful time you shared. ^^ I do wish Buld-a-Bear would expand their animal selection more to include skunks, chipmunks, foxes, and more. I've always wanted to get a plushy of Ozzie and Tavi that we can cuddle and diaper.

Ooh! That would be adorable! Especially if, at night, Tavi cuddled the Ozzie plushie while you cuddled the Tavi. That would be a picture to take, frame, and keep around forever-and-ever to remind the both of you of how much you mean to one another.

Oh, was thinking but you don't need to answer, how did you and Tavi meet? Was it a special, first meeting where you both knew you found that special someone? I know it was that way when I first set my eye on my wife. She's so incredible and her smile is the best and warmest I'd ever seen. Plus, she's a red head and I've ALWAYS had crushes for gingers. :)

Hehe, well we first met online at FTT and here at FA. We talked a lot via instant messenger and over the phone and through texts. We had a lot in common and really liked talking to each other. After I had lots my job and was staying with a friend, he came to visit and we hit it off instantly. We shared a lot, and I stayed up late with him a lot, and we just loved being together. We were both sad when he had to leave, but a week or so later he decided to just move in with me and we've been together ever since. ^^

D'aww. That is such a touching story, Ozzie. If I may ask again, please give Tavi a big hug for being such a caring and wonderful 'munk. He truly is one-of-a-kind and I am so happy you two found each other and can bring such happiness to each others lives. :)

*Huggles* But of course, my fluttery-friend. *Fluttersnugs* You were one of the initial folks I wanted to meet when I got here nearly 5 years ago and, now that we are closer friends, I am elated to feel in the company of one of my first inspirations to get into the babyfur arts through both personal acceptance and oodles-and-oodles of practice.

In a way, if I might add, your remarks in some of your posts where you kind of bear down on some "mistakes" you made in it got me to realize, with Toroth's help, that each work is another step closer to success. Moreover, it is a learning experience in which, as your most recent post shows, you truly are learning and ever becoming a most notably talent artist.

Now, if only you had the time to do more work. Life is tough juggling all you have to juggle. Just know that, so long as you are around here, I don't intend on going anywhere and will always patiently be waiting for your next, exciting post of inspiration and good times. :)

It's close people like Kiffin, Star, yourself, Toroth and others that I find to be the greatest gift a person could hope for. I can be me around you guys without feeling weird. Moreover, having instant encouragement ready at a moment's notice is quite a privilege, especially considering a number of people aren't so lucky. I guess I'm unduly hard on my mistakes because I don't want to fool myself into thinking there's no room for improvement in whatever I do. Concerning art though, I think I need to make more mistakes. That is to say, I have to draw more. Maybe there will be time for that on Spring Break.

*Hugs tight* That's a good attitude, Tacki. Seriously, if you look back through my gallery, you'll notice not only how my art has changed, but my writing style, too. All of which would not have happened without years-and-years of trial and error to find out exactly what is right. Ironically, as an artist, there will never be a "Right" as you will always look at your last work as "That was..." with an eagerness to press on with what you liked in the past idea(s) to create the newer ones.

My original "Silmaria" book is an awesome example as, despite writing over 200 pages, I am scrapping the WHOLE THING. To my current standards, the version you see up to, I think, Chapter 6 is the way I want to go. However, it took me over 10 years to get to this point and I am eager to finish when I can.

There's also the matter of "Project: Ezil". It is actually the precursor to my current style of writing and I dabbled first with it in 2008 / 2009. It's amazing how some things just come full-circle to create an amazing whole.

And, *Crinklehuggles tight and pat-pats gently at your backfluff* The encouragement you get is "EARNED" I wouldn't say to you anything I didn't notice naturally. It is who you are that made me want to find and befriend you and, to be honest, you are far more than I ever expected you to be. *Hugs* Happy dino-ducky am I.

To add, your work on "CoM" is what made me realize I "HAD" to finish "Creative Campaign 2". I told myself, "If Nishi and Tacki can do epic projects, so can I!" and I did! Sure there are some parts I'm kind "blah" about. However, I overall like how it all turned out and hope to see it published as it is pretty much ready to be put up for all to get at cost. :)

Overall, you inspire me, Tacki. I always look forward to hearing from you and always will as I we seem to only be growing closer as friends. *Raises a sippy cup, to good times and many crinkles ahead!
