Tried to longboard yesterday.
I mean I tried skateboarding 8 years ago but my board is mega stiff and it's one of those cheapo X play boards my aunt got me for my Bday.
So yesterday I tried longboarding on my friend's board and fell on my ass once, but I started by the end of the day learning how to really board!
It was definitely a work out, and if I had the money I'd buy one for myself.

it's a lot of fun, plus it's great for your legs. cheapest board I got was... $90 I think, and it was half off, so yeah they're a little spendy. I haven't been able to board for awhile, last board took too much water damage so the wheels don't spin well anymore and I haven't bothered replacing them yet (note: do not ride in rain). still get some fun out of it letting the dog pull me around though, and she gets a good run, win-win.
Yeah, I'm definitely considering getting one since it'll make it easier to get from class to class.
Though, I'd definitely need the funds but hopefully I can work towards that in the summer! I figure I can refine riding over the summer and then really use it around school in fall semester.
