Next time you're back there, go for a long walk along the C & O canal trail, which goes through most of Maryland and parallels the Potomac River, the B&O railroad and or course, the C&O canal which was never made it to the "O" (Ohio) as the name might suggest. It's really neat and pretty and I highly recommend it.
