Crackin' Knuckles - Final
Here's the finished version. This is for a meme I've been seeing around lately both here and in FA.
The final version will be done in the next couple of days. I've got a lot of space to fill with "personal blurbs". Some light-hearted, some "deep". Some serious, some not so much.
This took me about 4 hours in total. Photoshop CS3. The hair took me about and hour and a half on it's own. The original sketch took me about 30 to 45 minutes.
Pegasus (aka Eric) is property of Adam Fullerton.

Well, actually, it is! But, not the same comic that I presented online, per se.
Long story short, I've made it an actual print comic. But, in order to make the story flow better (rather than making a cliffhanger at the end of every single page), I rewrote the story a bit. It's still the same storyline, but it starts right when Karen wakes up after the accident in the lab that awakens Eric to begin with.
The second issue is what takes place between Karen and Eric's escape and the point in the story where they're looking for a new place. So, while it's new material, it stays within the same storyline. And, at the same time, it helps to establish certain characters a little more effectively. :)
If you're interested in picking up the first two issues (I'm working on issue 3 as we speak), you can order 'em here:
Wandering Trials #1
Wandering Trials #2
Spread the word, if ya can! :) I've been trying to let everyone know wherever possible. But, if you know anyone else who was a fan, but isn't aware of the print comic, let 'em know it's out and waiting to be read. :)

You're the first to have noticed that, actually. ;)
My official explanation is simply that it was a pencil sketch that I felt like working with. The ears were an unfortunate case of "out of sight, out of mind". The unofficial story is that he's so pissed that he flattened his ears back to the point where they were hidden completely within his mane. ;)
Hey, I think it could work. He's got REALLY poofy hair in this pic (I blame all the 80's TV I watched as a kid).
