had one of those in our cabin when i was growing up. no exactly sure how we got it. i know my dad had lots of friends in different departments on the railroad. probably managed to snag one from a caboose that had gotten recked or something. many many years ago of course. railroad still used cabooses in those days and freight trains had full crews. that included a fireman on the helper and a breakman on the head end as well as one in the caboose with the conductor, as through freights had to do their own switching on the hill which was beyond the territory of any of the local turns.
