Time
(Tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock, tick, tock)
Time
(Tock, tick, tock)
It can be tedious
(Tick, tock)
Or perhaps hasty
(Tick, tock)
You decide.
(Tock, tick, tock)
Either you move fast in the world
(Tick, tock)
Or it slows down for you
(Tick, tock)
Make a choice.
(Tock, tick, tock)
The short hand; the core to Time
(Tick, tock, tick, tock)
The big hand; Time’s detail
(Tick, tock, tick, tock)
The red needle; Father keeps track
(Tick, tock, tick, tock)
Of everything done, heard and watched
(Tick, tock, tick, tock)
The sound is everywhere; annoyance for some, bliss to others
A second counts three major events
A minute for the decent ones
An hour is just a mere task (Wow)
No way to regain, nor stop or hasten
(Tick, tock, tick, tock)
Only to waste on trivial memories
(Tick, tock, tick, tock)
Make use of the Time given
(Tick)
Or be lost, for all eternity.
