Had to say goodbye to one of my best friends today.
He passed away en route to the emergency vet.
I'm going to miss him more than words can rightly express. He was the most loving dog, not an ounce of mean in him.
I got him for Valentine's Day my freshman year of High School. He used to sleep on my shoulder and snore in my ear when he was a puppy.
He used to curl up next to my son's playpen and guard him while he slept.
The past few years were rough on him, his hips were going, he barely had control over them.
Now he's gone. I'll miss you, Kari-boo.
