I made a chart showing the evolution of the Asia Class Cruiser.
___________________________________________________________________
USS Asia was the lead ship of her class. Commissioned in 2204, she was the premier exploration vessel on the Klingon border. She was considered a heavy cruiser in 2204 but would be considered a light cruiser by 2265.
After years of service, she was decommissioned in 2265, and served in the reserve fleet until 2272, when she was considered thoroughly obsolete and scrapped.
