My newest-ordered owl pellets came in yesterday, and instead of being 'productive' I went at them with a vengeance. It was glorious.
I ended up getting two pocket gopher skulls out of it, with tons of beautiful bones.
This skull was the largest of the two, and nearly complete. Quite a gorgeous little piece, I'm really happy that the jawbones and the skull itself very almost next to each other, so I didn't have to worry that I was putting the wrong set together.

Doesn't it just look great? I was so excited when I started taking the pellet apart and saw this skull!
I've been buying them off of Etsy.com, but right now there's only one raptor pellet that I can find (and it's located in the UK) because I think I bought all the other ones that were available ;) Ahaha... they show up every now and then. The other site I'm going to order owl pellets from is Hideandfur.com, they're under the Bones - Miscellaneous Bones section. I haven't ordered them yet, but I'm planning on putting an order in Sat (after I get my paycheck) and they should be in sometime next week. I've had good experiences with HideandFur on other things, so I'm hoping their owl pellets are good quality too (and they're on sale right now!).
