So I've made a little project for myself, take an ordinary IBM ThinkCentre computer case, and rebuild it from the ground up basically. Turn it into something people really wouldn't expect from an IBM
Pictured is an IBM ThinkCentre A52 case.
Current Specs:
Processor: Intel Pentium 4HT 3.20GHz
RAM: 2GB DDR2 RAM
Motherboad: ThinkCentre Cayman-RH
HDD: 2x Hitachi DeskStar 80GB
Desired specs:
Intel i7 6 core
8GB DDR3 E-Team RAM
550GB Hitachi DeskStar Hard Drive SATA 3.0
Integrated Intel GMA Graphics.
6 Channel Fan Controller
SD Card Reader (Doesn't work)
USB 3.0 (all ports)
Going to get:
ATI Radeon 7870 HIS Graphics Card
Project in the works.

Why are you choosing to go with an ATI card Vs Nvidia? Just curious. I have always stuck with what is more affordable at the time I am running a superclocked 660 TI currently. Picked it up at my local PC shop for about $200. From my experience, with my 5770 I used to use. ATI/AMD cards are quiet, fairly cool, But mine refused to work with Linux drivers at the time
