This is the photo that I am having placed on his urn that I was able to purchase thanks to the help of some really sweet friends.
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge.
When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge.
There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together.
There is plenty of food, water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who had been ill and old are restored to health and vigor; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days and times gone by.
The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing; they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind.
They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent; His eager body quivers. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carrying him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend finally meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face; your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart.
Then you cross Rainbow Bridge together.

They were very nice *nods* Apparently he'd already placed Worthless in a box, but didn't hesitate to transfer him to the urn you three bought - even if it was last minute (he got the email earlier this afternoon). He never even charged me the fee to pick him up and bring him back to the vet either (that was supposed to be $20 according to their site). They made a condolence card and enclosed his paw prints. I can't tell you how hard I cried when I opened the card and they fell in my lap. They even enclosed a condolence letter separate for the card. He printed the picture and put it in the urn's frame, but he only had regular paper, so it came out really grainy. The whole fact that he actually printed it meant something to me as I only really sent it to him to show the picture I was wanting to put in the frame. When I have the resources I am going to reprint the picture on photo paper so it's a better quality. It hasn't made the pain go away, but it helps knowing these people are so nice and respectful.

I would like to think so. He was slowly starving due to a tumor in his mouth that was making it difficult to groom himself and eat. I would like to think the is fine and able to do all that he want sand just lay lazily on some country porch somewhere. He was my lazy little old man after all. He took his sweet time going any where and doing anything.
