A very unique ear/tail set that provided a bit of a challenge. The tail has a few stitches to keep the knot in place, and the ears have a foam armature so they stand up easily.

So happy to see more Alphyns! But is there a way you could do the knot without actually tying the tail in one? I'm interested in having my Alphyn's done but that knot is far too large for my liking for Kurgan.

I've thought about carving a knot out of a block of foam, so a 3D version of a knot without tying, and then using it to make a pattern to sew from. But was wondering if you knew of other methods.
