This is a stereoscopic wet plate collodion tintype done in the style of 1850's photography. If you aren't
keefox, you might not know what stereoscopic is. *smiles* Well, using the Darlot, there were 2 lenses side by side. I exposed them both at the same time on a 5x7 aluminum plate. Poor Rance had to sit still for 28 seconds, but holy crap did he come through! These old lenses have such shallow depths of field, I'm shocked at how much of him is in focus! It's also really nice that this plate doesn't have the chemical streaking the previous two images did from organic material contaminating the silver nitrate...
