2 Derps on a Rollercoaster
Needed a new ID hurr hurr.
From a trip with my absolute best friend and partner in derp
carme-wolf to Alton Towers. For those who don't know, Air is a 'Flying Coaster' where you're in the Superman flying position the whole ride (belly facing the floor as if you're lying flat on your front...very fun coaster!), so me and Carme just had to be derps about it. I think I was mid-speech so that explains why my mouth is in a weird shape haha.
I love how Carme's eyes have rolled right to the top of her head, pfft. It's okay, on-ride photos are never flattering.

I think that would ruin Air, it's just a really fun flying experience that doesn't try to rip you apart. I don't get the Air haters, it's fab. A few corkscrews/inline twists and the fly-to-lie is all it needs...what were people expecting, Nemesis?
But I would like to experience a Pretzel Loop! A lot of people say they're horrifically intense but I say bring it on! People said I'd die on the Ultimate, and sure it was violent as FUCK, but not as bad as people made out so...

You can't go wrong with B&M really, they're so glass smooth (unlike Intamin or Gerstlauer, HURGH). Although a lot of my friends say Air is better than the US ones I'd still like to try them, especially Tatsu and Superman. Their Wingcoasters are really cool too from my experience on Swarm at Thorpe Park.
B&M are also responsible for building the awesome Dive Machines...no matter how many times I ride it, Oblivion at Alton still makes me shit myself haha!

There's your answer! I love Oblivion, everything about it is so intimidating. I agree with others who say the US versions aren't as scary since they don't drop into a pitch black hole and they last longer with added loops and twists which I imagine takes away that breathless "holy shit what happened am I still alive?" feeling you get on Oblivion.
Nemesis is still the best though, utterly relentless. I'm very excited about the new Smiler coaster opening there this year, look it up when you have the time :]

Lol I'm not American? I live in the UK, this was at Alton Towers - only two of our parks, Alton and Thorpe have B&Ms. Most other parks here have Vekoma, Gerstlauer (our ones are rough!), Intamin and Maurer Sohne. The rest are just kiddy coasters haha.
And hey, Mack are pretty good! They made Helix at Liseberg and Blue Fire, awesome coasters! While I do like our Vekoma SLCs, you have my sympathy about all your Vekomas XD
