This is a test print of the picture of Kyubi I drew for my audio CD. 1200 DPI test print (scaled down here to 600DPI) from an HP LaserJet 1020. The final product will be etched on lightscribe discs.

I shaded it using a mechanical pencil, then scanned it back in so that I could overlay it with the vector file which produced this print. The idea is "best of both worlds" -- vector inking means it will scale and traditional shading means it looks soft and fluffy =w=
