Finished full illustration for Drakonic Knight, of her dragon/thylacine hybrid character taking flight to grab a snack! The bird that's going to be lunch is a diamond firetail finch, thought the red color repetition would look nice (plus they are native to Tasmania). This one was so fun, I've been itching to do a mossy environment forever.

[edit] F5 for some minor edits to the wings! I thought the veins were a bit too dark, and I changed the color of the white stripes on the wing to match the red light pouring through.

Ah I love forests like this. The moss really looks spongy and soft like moss should, and I love all the tiny plants among the ground. Nice work on the wings too, love all the tiny veins and how the legs are slightly visible through them. Lovely environment, great work.
The play of light and atmosphere, especially with the translucent wing membrane, is astounding. For some reason, I want to say this could be an amazing cover for a really good novel about the creature or it's world. It really draws the observer into the moment.
