I started making some tail feathers for the fursuit to go with the white raven head I recently bought from The very talented Crystumes http://www.furaffinity.net/view/100...../#cid:66993888 I guess it's kinda odd that I'd start with the tail, but it's one of the easier parts I found to make. I took some very short felt, cut a 4" wide strip, folded it un-furred side over a rod, sewed the seam over the rod, and then cut out a feather shape. Once this was done, I removed the rod and unfolded it. To add a little more realism, I cut some gaps to simulate breaks in feathers. Since these are tail feathers, and I will likely be sitting on them a few times, I went without a center rod the would bend or poke me when I sat.
