Posed for a photoshoot at Furnal Equinox this year, Many pictures taken but I am uploading my favourite three.

Con Report - Furnal Equinox was a lot of fun! I managed to set a new record for staying in suit at over four hours on Saturday and even snuck in a couple of hours on Friday! I purchased a couple of excellent badges Featuring Ceyla's likeness (which I will upload when I get the chance) which I can use both to proudly display her name while I am in costume and identify myself when out of costume. And even though I was nervous about it, I was welcomed with open arms at the Lady Furs meet and greet, and got to meet new friends, old friends, and even a surprise visit from my best St CAtharines friends!

The Costume - The Costume is a character of my Design, Ceyla the Dragonborn, everything you see (besides the sword and shield) was crafted by the extremely talented  beastcub who did a better job than I could have ever dreamed for. The Sword is a larping sword purchased from Northern Armour Studios https://www.nothernarmor.com and the shield I made myself! It is my first prop and new to this convention. It is constructed from foam, paper, and rope, held together with hot glue and painted with simple acrylic paint. It was my first prop and despite a faulty Strap it managed to hold together very well for the duration of the convention. I plan to replace the flimsy velco strape with another section of rope which should not only hold better but look better as well, and I will be sealing and pressing down the front of the shield with a matte sealer as soon as I can pick one up.
