I had heard about a pair of shoes designed to fit all sizes, whose contours stretched to fit the size of one's feet, no matter how large. Given I had outgrown nearly every pair of shoes I had, I decided to give them a try.

Known only as "Super Shoes", they certainly lived up to their reputation, easily sliding around my feet without difficulty. They weren't oversized at the moment, but I had secretly hoped that, if the shoes were the real deal, then I would be able to wear them no matter what happened....and perhaps slow down my random foot growth spurts.

They were put to the test as I strolled through the park to break them in. That familiar heaviness as my feet began to stretch and grow. Amazingly, my shoes did not immediately fall apart as they normally do; instead, they stretched to conform to my swelling feet! Not to mention the rate of growth I normally experience was slowed considerably! I was quite excited, a pair of shoes I could finally wear that would put my foot growth problems to rest forever!

Unfortunately, those shoes couldn't really STOP the growth entirely. They continued to swell and strain against the taut fabric, the soles unable to keep up as the contours began to mold around my feet. I was amazed at how strong they were, despite how large they had grown, but they felt incredibly tight, as if they were fighting back against them. I already looked silly enough with big feet, and was just grateful the shoes were living up to their name, but my feet were determined to win the battle. So they grew....and grew....and grew.

The only question going through my mind after my feet had grown larger than the trees surrounding me, was just how long these Super Shoes were going to last....and how big my feet were going to end up when they finally lost.
