I can certainly appreciate that! Aging is scary and undesirable, but I guess to people who like AP, that's part of the appeal! I can certainly appreciate being aroused by undesirable things or things that scare you. As a small kid I was terrified of werewolves, if you can believe it, haha
I've been getting into age progression myself! I find it really fun because you can explore what happens to one's character as they age.
What's their path in life? What are their accomplishments? What mistakes did they make? Did they get fit? Fat? Where do they end up working, (if they do)?
Each is a potential future waiting to be explored, and getting there a little bit faster and having to deal with something so strange is kind of enjoyable.
There's something appealing about becoming an older or gruffier fur too!
All in all though, awesome little sequence. :D

I agree, you can certainly do fun things with age transformation with regards to showing a person's life! I didn't so much do it in this case, but it might be nice to think the jerk jock would have grown up to find a love of teaching. Maybe he liked Mr Johnson already, more than he was willing to admit! Might explain why he was so upset to disappoint the older wolf.
What I like is that the progression stands alone. Look at the piece without the comic bubbles. Maybe you get the same story, maybe you don't.
Maybe it's not an instant transformation. We go from college boy to graduate to 40+. It happened to me. In my dreams, I'm still 23 (middle pic) but I'm nearly 40, now.
