I think Soundwave Prime is a much better Deceiptacon then Starscream cause he doesnt scream out like a whiny baby (or Megatron's girlfriend) Still, without him we wouldn't be laughing at how much he fails

eh it wouldn't be transformers without Starscream, at least this incarnation isn't nearly as incompetent as his former incarnations were. He has a better and more realistic arrogant streak and is downright SADISTIC when he wants to be. Then again I love Starscream, he's extreamly expressive more so than ANY other robot on the show, and I love how delightfully over the top he is with his acting, expression, and voice.
Then again im am a former animator and I absolutely POUR over characters like starscream. Soundwave may be a good character but he's not nearly as interesting.

That said Starscream is my favorite, and I won't be changing my mind on that. You're welcome to like Soundwave, but please respect that I like Starscream.

I'm not bagging on Starscream, I'm just saying I prefere Soundwave over him since he does his job without question and almost never fails it. Though I do agree with you without Starscream the series would be bland as bread, it's just funny how he fails like no tomorrow and when he thought his plan worked, it backfired faster then an explosion in any Micheal Bay movie

Not saying I think Starscream sucks, just hilariously pathetic how he barely even succeeded in the simplest tasks, still his sadistic nature does put a bit more spice in his fail card
