Given there was no way I was going to be able to get in my car and drive home, my date and I decided to enjoy an evening walk instead.
Okay....I admit, I have no idea how I pulled this off. My feet not only were the size of a bus, they felt about as heavy as one too. I dunno if it was his encouragement, or just the sheer fact I really didn't want to be out in public given the circumstances, but I somehow managed to defy physics further and maneuver my feet to allow me to walk down the street.
The rest of the night was a blur after that, but when I awoke the next morning (my feet having shrunk enough to get back inside, it seems) a text message on my phone when I woke up the next morning.
"I had a great time last night! You certainly are an interesting girl!" said the text message, followed by something a little more cryptic. "Er...probably don't want to turn on your TV for a while."
I was further perplexed, turning on the morning news....and noticed the news report discussing the gigantic pawprints that had torn up several city blocks downtown, with the reporters commenting on the enormous bill the city planned to issue once they found the unknown culprit.
I decided to stay in for a few days.

Looks like another fun adventure has come to an end, Melanie. Looks like your paws may get into all sorts of mischief in the future.
OOC: Thank you for the next Melanie comic. Am I correct to assume this was the last one until commissions may be made? If that's the case, I really do hope to keeping the character alive for future commissions. Growing paws are just that much of a fascination of mine.
