That was it. The night was ruined. My feet continued to grow, only finally stopping when they literally HAD smothered my blind date. The restaurant was in a complete shambles to boot. I was quite sure that he'd consider me a freak and never speak to me again, not to mention the bill I'd be getting would be astronomical.

But the strangest thing happened. He laughed. Not because of my monstrously large feet...well, okay, it WAS because of my big feet, but it wasn't in jest. He was smiling, laughing so hard he had to wipe the tears out of his eyes as he shifted against my toes. He was actually having fun. I was speechless.

He admitted to me that he was a fan of feet and paws himself, particularly large ones. Perhaps not as large as the pair I was sporting, but it was something he found enjoyable. I can't say I was that flattered by his comment, but it did ease my mind some. Heck, not many guys can smile their way through being smothered by a pair of bus-sized footpaws and still say they had a good time.

Of course, there was the matter of getting home now...
