It wasn't long before my feet had outgrown my new (and EXPENSIVE) heels. I looked around nervously, hoping the sounds of my shoes tearing themselves apart hadn't been noticed yet. I also had the help of the tablecloth, which concealed my still-expanding feet underneath them, but my blush was a little harder to hide.
