My final for my Design 1 class last term. Essentially, we had to make a pattern using what we learned and a pattern system. I used the grid, which is probably obvious. I was planning on making this a Christmas card but never got the chance to print any :( I do like it a lot though.

Well my experience has been good, but whenever I do anthro subjects in my personal and school work I try to really develop it into something that looks new and different, and i keep commission work and such of people's ocs separate. You can really do any subject matter as long as your open to critique on how to do it better, even if thats really different from what you thought was "good". I hope that makes sense? Basically its ok but its similar to "anime" style work, you just have to make it your own.
No problem! Anything to help. And it's ok, im hesitant to draw magical girl stuff lol. Wether they'll appreciate the realism more or not is dependent on the person, but it'll definitely have an interesting effect and i reccomend trying it! Try everything actually, this is the time to be experimenting! /end rant
