Just wanted to do some comparrison photos of the two primates I have in my collection right now. Chacma baboon and crab eating macaque, left to right. Juvi baboon, adult macaque. Goes to show you the size difference for sure!
From the front, they look very similar. But from the side, there are immense differences. Obviously in the shape of the muzzle, along with the jaw's structure. Note that the macaque's is more "bowl" shaped where it swoops up towards the tip. The baboon's is very square and blocky.
